Above is the statistical information for Girdwood's Population Growth and Growth in the number of households. The estimated population in 2009 of 2302 feels high. While the statistics show a marked increase in households and population from 2000 to 2009, we really haven't seen growth in the school population. And, interestingly, there hasn't really been an increase in services during that time. So, are the "new folks" Anchorage-centered? Is our growth in persons without children? Does this give us an accurate measuring stick to predict church growth?
